About Me
Language connects people – and this connection has fascinated me throughout my life.
Growing up in cosmopolitan Zurich, I was exposed to different cultures and perspectives from an early age. My passion for languages led me to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Multilingual Communication, specialising in German, English and Spanish. I then moved to London, where I completed a Master’s degree in Social Sciences (Transnational Studies) and further developed my international outlook.
After completing my studies, I gained extensive experience in the fields of language, communication and media. During my time at Blick in the news and business section, as well as my work as an editor and reporter at 20 Minuten, I developed the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and accessible way. I also gained further journalistic experience at the industry magazine Travel Inside and as a freelance writer for Traumhaus.
Alongside my work in journalism, I have always been passionate about teaching and supporting individuals in their personal development. During my studies, I taught German and English to children, teenagers and adults. Today, I also teach English for Pro Infirmis, supporting people with special needs in developing their language skills at their own pace and according to their individual abilities.
Through my experience in HR at one of Switzerland’s largest fitness companies, as well as my HR certificate, I have gained valuable insights into the Swiss and international education and career landscape. I also pursue my passion for guidance and personal development as a mentor and job coach with the Red Cross, where I support people with a refugee background on their professional journey.
I support people in expressing their thoughts clearly, developing their language skills and discovering new professional perspectives.
