Having grown up in cosmopolitan Zurich, I have always been fascinated by foreign languages and cultures. Thus, it‘s no surprise that I completed a Bachelor's degree in Multilingual Communications (focus on German, English, Spanish).

 

After my Bachelor's degree, I was drawn to the fascinating city of London where I completed a Master's degree in Social Sciences (Transnational Studies) at University College London.

 

Fascinated by language, I did an internship at Blick, one of the biggest tabloids in Switzerland, in the news and business department shortly after my Master's degree. This was followed by positions at 20 Minuten, another major tabloid in Switzerland, and the industry magazine Travel Inside, where I was able to pursue my passion for travel and lifestyle journalism. I have also written articles for Swiss architecture magazine „Traumhaus“ (eng. Dream House) magazine on a freelance basis.

 

I also have experience as a tutor, as I taught children, teenagers and adults in German and English during my studies.

 

I am also familiar with the professional and academic landscape in Switzerland and abroad and have experience in HR at the largest fitness chain in Switzerland as well as an HR certificate. I can also pursue my passion for counseling at the Red Cross, where I work as a mentor/job coach for refugees.
